What this site knows about you

Short version: almost nothing. LAMBO sets no tracking cookies and runs no ad network. A few embedded services do their own thing; they're listed here.

What LAMBO collects

This website is a set of static pages hosted on Cloudflare. LAMBO itself sets no cookies and keeps no visitor profiles. Our host keeps ordinary server logs (the page requested, when, and a shortened network address) for security and to count visits.

When you subscribe to The Dirt, join, or donate, you give your name and email (and payment details for payments) to the form provider named on that page. Those go into LAMBO's donor database, which only the board and the treasurer can see. We don't sell or share the list. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Outside services on this site

  • Weather on the trail pages comes from Open-Meteo. Your browser asks for the forecast at the trailhead's coordinates, not yours.
  • Trailforks maps and rider reports are embedded from trailforks.com, which may set its own cookies inside those boxes.
  • Strava club widgets are embedded from strava.com, which uses its own analytics inside the widget.
  • Google Maps is embedded on trail pages that aren't on Trailforks yet, and Google may set cookies there.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces; your browser requests the font files from Google.
  • Little Green Light hosts the newsletter, membership and donation forms.
  • Links to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube take you to those sites, which have their own policies.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. If you'd rather not load them, a browser content blocker will stop the embeds and the rest of the site works fine without them.

Photos

LAMBO takes photos at events and on the trail and uses them on this site, in The Dirt and on social media. If you're in a photo and would like it taken down, email us and we will.
